I am a mom of three great kids and a wife of a terrific husband. We have just reached our 17th year! I love to spend time with my family, chat with my friends, read a good book, work in my yard, travel to beautiful beaches, and lay out back on my hammock just daydreaming. Just when you have figured out life, there seems to be a surprise waiting for you. But, life would be a drag without those surprises!

Winter 2011
Christmas time.. fun time for our family. Our Christmas Elf arrived this year for the first time...a fun family tradition. Kapri is turning 11 in a few days. She is in the 5th grade. Ryann is 10 in the 4th grade and Taygen is 8 1/2 in the 3rd grade. They just keep growing.. time to slow it down kids!! ;o) We are slowly becoming certified with Foster Care. It is a slow process because they seem to be backed up on the home study part. We hope it will be enjoyable for our family and we learn a lot about giving and helping others.

Fall 2010
School started up ...Kapri is in 4th grade, Ryann is in 3rd and Taygen is in 2nd. I stay busy with volunteering in their classrooms and lots of after school homework. They all enjoy their teachers this year and are having fun. We bought a new puppy. She is a cocker/yorkie/pekingese.. and her name is Kia. We all have lots of fun with her.

Summer 2010
We have been getting involved in movies, commercials.. and anything that looks like fun that comes our way. All the kids enjoy the spotlight and making a little spending cash! Their mommy loves it too!

Spring 2010
We have finished the basement remodeling.. wow! That was a big accomplishment! Dustin did awesome and we are all enjoying all the new rooms that are finished! I love being able to enjoy the entire house! I am working part time now as a 2nd grade overload tech/teacher. I love it.. just enough time to keep me happy and not too much to take away from the family.

Taygen is baptized. Our third baby..growing up. We are so proud of him. It was great to have family and friends there to celebrate with us. He loves his new suit!

Our new addition.. Silver



We purchased a new horse and named her Silver. All three kids enjoy riding her, along with their daddy. Their mommy, now that's a different story. She seems to have not gotten over a childhood fear. Maybe Silver will change her mind!

Baptism #2


November 2009
Ryann is baptized!! That's two down and 1 to go. It was a great baptism.. and we loved seeing all the family there. Ryann was so happy and "feels" that much older. Taygen is anticipating his now.. but has 2 years to go! We love our little sweethearts and are so proud of them for their decisions to get baptized!

Added a new member of the family!


This is our Bella- 8wk old Beagle...our newest member of the Peterson Clan. And I still ask myself, what was I thinking? It seems when I have it really good, I go and mess everything up. I have all three kids in school full time this year. Completely free..and what do I go and do? Add another responsibility for years and years to come. Hmm, don't I ever learn? Good thing she is so adorable!

Kapri was baptized!!



What a thrill to have our first child baptized. I was strangely calm throughout the whole thing and even before in the planning stages. Kapri was so beautiful in her white baptism dress. She was so excited.. smiling all day. We had so many friends neighbors and family support us. When Kapri came out of the water she said "Mom, my skin is so smooth!" I told her " and very clean!" She is excited to be a member of the church now. Ryann is anxiously waiting for her turn in November. I just love my kids and I am so grateful for their good choices!
